Welcome to Brambles Childcare!
Brambles Childcare was set up in July 2018 (following the merger of Brambles Playgroup and Fun Club) to provide complete wrap around care for children aged 3 - 11 years (Playgroup provide places from 2 years). We are on the same site as St Helens Primary School and maintain close links with them. We have use of the school hall, playground and school playing fields and Forest School area at designated times.
We are a registered charity and a member of the Pre-school Learning Alliance. We are also guided by legislation that has been set up since the introduction of the Children’s Act 2004. We have regular Ofsted inspections to ensure that we meet the required National Standards which enables us to receive Nursery Education Funding. As a charity we are run by a Committee of volunteer trustees who make decisions about the way in which we operate and also support and assist the staff in our day to day running.
We offer education and care for children from 2 years, "Funded 2s" and up to 30 hours per week free childcare for those that are eligible. We have a wide range of activities that ensure a child’s social, intellectual, physical and emotional needs are catered for. All our activities are designed to encourage learning through play/first hand experiences.
